JCID (JC) Programmers, Tag-On Flex and Repair Parts

Who JCID is

JCID (often shortened to JC) is Shenzhen JC Innovation Device Co., Ltd., a repair-tool maker founded in 2013 and part of the same group as the soldering brand AiXun. The company builds hardware and software for data-level iPhone repair: reading and writing NAND, transferring True Tone and display data, restoring battery health readings, and repairing Face ID and camera flex data. Its product timeline is public on the company site: PRO1000S in 2016, the P7 PCIe programmer in 2018, the P11 BGA110 programmer in 2019, the V1S screen tester in 2020, the all-in-one V1S Pro in December 2022 and the V15 EDP screen tester in 2023.

For a repair bench, the practical meaning is simple. Most jobs that used to need a soldering microscope, such as moving a True Tone chip or re-pairing a battery, are now done by plugging a flex into a programmer and pressing a button. That is why JCID parts are the largest group in our Programmers & Testers category.

What we stock from JCID

Programmers

  • JCID V1S Pro: the bench unit. Battery health, True Tone, Face ID and camera repair, screen testing through the V1S Pro screen testing flex, and module slots for NAND and Wi-Fi work.
  • JCID V1S Plus: the same battery, True Tone and Face ID functions without the module slots.
  • JCID V1SE: the compact programmer for battery and True Tone jobs.
  • JCID P15 NAND programmer with the BGA110 module, plus separate BGA110 and BGA315 NAND modules and BGA14x15 / BGA15x16 Wi-Fi modules for board-level shops.
  • JCID Charging IC programmer and the Display IC test module for chip-level checks.

Tag-on and repair flex cables

These are the consumables you reorder every month, listed per iPhone model from X to the 17 line on the iPhone Parts pages and in the programmers category:

  • Battery tag-on flex cable: clips onto any battery cell and reports health data, so the phone shows a percentage instead of a service message.
  • Battery flex cable and Q1 battery board flex for shops that spot-weld cells.
  • Face ID repair flex and dot projector flex, used with the V1S programmer to move original data from a damaged flex to a new one.
  • Front camera, rear camera, ultra wide camera and LiDAR repair flex, with the matching adapter boards.
  • True Tone flex, light sensor flex and earpiece repair flex.
  • JCID batteries and battery cells that are pre-programmed, so the health reading is readable and editable with a JC programmer.

Testers and bench equipment

  • JCID V15PM screen tester with the display holding fixture and model flex cables, for checking iPhone X to 15 Pro Max screens before you fit or sell them.
  • iHeater Pro heating platform for iPhone X to 17 Pro Max, used to soften screen and back glass adhesive at a controlled temperature.
  • iBooter smart current analyzer, the BC02-T battery cycler and the Smart Test Card.
  • Small items: the JCID screwdriver set, chip milling fixture, 4-in-1 HUB boot cable, SP16 frame adhesive and TP-series polyurethane adhesive in our Tapes & Adhesives section.

How to choose a JCID programmer

Need V1SE V1S Plus V1S Pro
Battery health, tag-on flex Yes Yes Yes
True Tone transfer Yes Yes Yes
Face ID and camera flex repair No Yes Yes
Screen testing flex No No Yes
NAND / Wi-Fi modules No No Yes

If you only replace batteries and screens, a V1SE pays for itself quickly and takes almost no bench space. A shop that also handles Face ID failures after a drop needs at least the V1S Plus. If you do board work or want one unit for everything, the V1S Pro is the one to buy once; modules can be added later.

Two honest limits. First, a Face ID repair flex only works when the original dot projector data can still be read; if the flex is torn through the chip, there is nothing to transfer. Second, JCID software is updated often and some functions require an activation or a paid credit; check the current JC app before promising a repair to a customer.

Where JCID parts sit in a typical repair

  • Battery swap on iPhone 11 and newer: new cell or pack, a tag-on flex if the pack is not pre-programmed, V1SE or better to write the data. See our battery guide.
  • Screen swap on an OLED model: programmer reads True Tone from the old panel and writes it to the new one. Covered in the screen guide.
  • Refurbishing: V15PM tester to check the panel before and after lamination, together with supplies from the Screen Refurbishing category.

All JCID items ship from China. Approved repair shops get wholesale tiers on programmers and flex cables after a short application.

FAQ

Is JCID the same as JC?

Yes. JC is the short form used on older packaging and in forums; the registered brand is JCID.

Does a tag-on flex remove the battery service message on every iPhone?

It restores the health percentage and cycle count on iPhone 11 and newer when programmed correctly. Whether a parts message still appears in Settings depends on the iOS version; it does not affect charging or performance.

Can I use JCID flex cables with a QianLi programmer?

Some functions overlap, but JCID flex cables are designed for JCID software. For predictable results use the same ecosystem.

Do you sell JCID software activations?

We stock the Intelligent Drawing annual activation card. Other activations are bought inside the JC app.

Are the programmers covered by a warranty?

Programmers are tested before shipping and covered against manufacturing defects; terms are on the product page. Flex cables are consumables and are not returnable once used.
